Is there Uber in Jamaica?
Yes. Uber operates in Kingston and Montego Bay. Coverage thins outside the two main cities, so Ocho Rios, Negril, Portmore and much of the rest of the island still run on route taxis and charter taxis. Lyft does not operate in Jamaica. How do I become a Drift driver in Jamaica?

Is it safe to take taxis in Jamaica?
